It’s the big day and Maya came by to celebrate

The exchanging of rings went on without a hitch

Everyone was so happy for the new couple

No wedding is complete without the bride and groom sharing a dance

Peter and Mags wasted no time in consummating the marriage

Peter and Mags went honeymooning in China

They did a lot of woohooing

"Peter…I don’t think we should woohoo in the shower anymore"

Home at last..let’s woohoo

Some time later, Mags was feeling strange.

"I hope I’m not getting sick…"

Not sick..but pregnant!

Peter was excited.

"I can’t wait to meet him, Mags"

"Him? What if it’s a girl? It’s definitely a girl"

"Really? You’re positive now?"

"Mama’s intuition"

Mags was the one to tell Ophelia about the baby. It didn’t go well.

"The both of you are barely married and already a baby?"

"I thought you’d be happy, Ophelia. A grandchild is a grandchild after all"

Mags wondered what she did to make Ophelia dislike her so much. It seemed all out of the blue really…

The pregnancy was taking it’s toll on Mags. She was tired all the time and was always aching. She hoped after the baby was born that she would feel better.

Meanwhile, Ophelia was stressing out over her looming promotion

It’s a good thing Peter always knew how to make Mags feel better.

The baby decided to come right then and there.

Peter was no help.

Mags was unimpressed

Her Mama’s intuition was right. Baby Quintalyn is here!

After putting Quintalyn to bed, Mags started to feel strange.

She collapsed and died of birth complications. Peter was heartbroken.

Ophelia was full of guilt. She had been worried about their baby being an alien and suggested a home birth, like she had done many years ago. 

Ophelia spent lots of time in the nursery. She felt Mags’ death had been her fault and fell into a depression.

Peter tried to keep himself busy. He didn’t want to think about what had happened. It was too hard.

He had to be two parents now and it was taking a toll on him.

Peter hoped to be good to little Quinn. To be the daddy that Mags knew he was.

He visited her grave often.

Peter didn’t want Quintalyn to not know her mother so he hung up some pictures. 

Peter took out his frustrations and sorrow on the martial arts dummy he had gotten in China.

It didn’t always work out.

Peter was not all there. He missed Mags so much.
