Pham Going Solo - Tina 8.4

Warning: Grab tissues...and old lady nudity
--

We start off our adventure with Quintalyn doing what she does best.

She was almost excited as I was.

WOO

"After all these years...and I still end up covered in soot"

Tina returned home feeling exhausted.

She finally managed to breakup with Daniel and it had been a stressful affair.
"I'm so glad that's over"

Stephen and Kari have been thinking about having another baby.

Meanwhile, Quintalyn came across Titus at the Junkyard.

All she knew was that Tina was dating this man...and she didn't like it.

There was something off about him and she was going to find out what it was.

She came home to find Tina leaving for her shift.
'I'll figure this out, Tina. For your sake, I hope he's decent'

First things first, Quintalyn needed a shower.

Tilla really did like the idea of a werewolf bartender and tended to book Tina when the full moon was due. She really didn't mind that much but she did hope know one would stare at her.

"Honey, you look great. I'm just sorry that there isn't many customers here tonight."
"A quiet Friday night....There's a first for everything I suppose"

Meanwhile, Quintalyn had a plan. She was going to pretend to be a repair woman. Tina had talked about on how Titus' house was in shambles. It seemed an easy enough plan and if no one was home, she'd break in. Easy.

She made it to Titus' home with out issue.

Quintalyn ended up kind of breaking in. The door was open so really she wasn't committing a crime....yeah let's go with that.

She hadn't even taken one step before she was called into the bathroom. A rather pregnant woman was there with her hand ready to shake hers.
"I'm sorry I wasn't at the door. You're the repair woman Titus hired right? I'm Rebecca, his wife."
Well this was something.

A wife..of all things. Quintalyn knew he was scum!
Rebecca seemed like a nice woman. It was such a shame that her husband was not.

She ended up fixing the sink as an act of kindness. The poor woman didn't deserve this and neither did Tina.

Quintalyn said goodbye to Rebecca and ran home. She had no idea what she was going to tell Tina and thought Stephen might be some help.

Luckily enough, Stephen was on his way outside to tend to his garden when Quintalyn ran in.
"Grandma! You look like you're in a hurry"

"Oh Stephen! Thank goodness. I have news about Tina's new boyfriend."

"New boyfriend? I didn't even know Daniel was out of the picture."
"Oh honey. Tina tracked that boy down and broke up with him. I did the same thing once upon a time ago"

"But that's old news. I was stalking Titus this morning and..."

"Wait what? You can't just follow Tina's new boyfriend just because you don't like him, Grandma. He might be a nice guy."

It seems Stephen wouldn't be any help. He liked to see the good in everyone and Titus was in no exception.

"It looks like I'm on my own this time.."

Quintalyn sat herself at Tina's computer and got to work. She would find Titus' every dirty secret even if it killed her.

Meanwhile, Tina had no idea what was going on and blissfully enjoyed her lunch.

Rika never stops cooking...ever

WHAT

NO

YOU LIED TO ME GENIE

"Well this isn't good"

Stephen ran in to see Grim looming over his Grandmother.
"No...please"

Grim took her without warning. He had been waiting far too long for her and wasted no time.

Stephen cried over the loss. Quintalyn had looked after him when he thought he couldn't go on and didn't know what to do.

Rika couldn't cry but she still felt sorrow over the loss of her creator.
"Ms. Quintalyn..."

It's like Tiara sensed that something was wrong.
"Wahhh!"
"Please don't cry Tiara"

Stephen placed Quintalyn's ashes in the dining room. She would be watching over everyone as they ate. It felt right to him.

Tina came home from her shift at the Spa and found the house eerily quiet.
"Hello? Dad?, Grandma?"

"Tina..."
"Oh Dad...what's up?"
"Your grandma passed. I'm so sorry."

Tina did not react well.
"What do you mean she's dead!? Why didn't anyone call me!?"

"I would've come straight home. I would've."
"Tina.."

"Daddy...what are we going to do without her?"
All Stephen could do was hold her.

"I know it seems hard right now, Tina but it'll be alright. We'll be alright"

Tina didn't know how to believe him. Grandma had always been there and now she wasn't...

She needed to talk to someone.
Tina called Titus in hopes they could meet up.

Tina arrived at Solace, a new club, but Titus cancelled on her. Lately, he had been doing that a lot and Tina was very frustrated.

She decided to drink her sorrows away and be angry.

Many drinks later, Tina ended up in the arms of Don Lothario.

It was after 200am before Tina made it back home, still buzzed and the guilt not sinking in yet.

Despite all that happened, there was still one thing that was left behind.

Bonus Shots:
This scene is hilarious to me

Poor Rebecca had to live in this squalor.

Whenever someone prank calls Quintalyn, I always think it's Brice calling from the grave

Tiara watched the whole exchange between Quintalyn and Stephen. She gave no cares.

I got the Phams a new pet. I named her Quin.

I'm so sad you guys. I had to drink away my feels. Quintalyn was my baby and I'll miss her. She lived 134 days.

Fun Fact: Quintalyn's epitaph says "Here lies Quintalyn Pham, one crazy lady"

Rebecca had her babies and it's twins: A boy and girl.
