Trang and Nipunis came to see the new baby

Ophelia got a call later on in the night.
"Spencer?"
“Ophelia, my parents are going to come for the baby soon”
"I’d like to see them try. My mother is fully prepared to beat them with her cane"
“Haha. That may but my parents are ruthless. They don’t see the baby as what it is but as a thing to get rid of.”
"So what does that mean exactly?"
“I’m not too sure but it can’t be good. I heard talk of an orphanage in Twinbrook”
"What? Twinbrook? Who do they think they are anyway?"
"When you’re the Mayor, power goes to your head. Look Ophelia. You need to get out of here. It’s the only way. I’ll help”
"You’re probably right. Thankyou so much Spencer. Oh and Spencer? His name is Peter"
MAYA COME BACK
Maya begged death to let her live a little longer
He was unmoved
Ophelia was heartbroken.
"Oh Mom!"
"We were supposed to go together"
Ophelia decided to leave immediately. With her mother gone, there was no point in waiting until the morning.
"Spencer I need to go…now"
"Come along Petey. We’re going on a little trip"
Ophelia left with a heavy heart. She didn’t want to leave but she had to. With Spencer’s crazy parents, who knew what they’d try.
With only a few personal possessions, they got into a cab and left.
This is their new home in Monte Vista!
If she was going to be here, Ophelia thought she should make friends with her neighbours
Ophelia had to say…this house was very nice.
"Sleep tight Peter"
Peter aged up and he’s super cute!
Ophelia immediately started on teaching him his skills.
"Your grand daddy was from space"
"No..Mommy’s not married"
Peter was a good baby. He wasn’t anything like those horror stories her mother had talked about.
Ophelia wondered if she had a little musician on her hands.
Maya has been ghosting around lately so Ophelia thought a talk was in order.
"Mom..I appreciate you as always but maybe you could tone it down a bit. You scared Peter last time"
Ophelia made sure to spend lots of time with Peter. She remembered her lonely days all too well.

Ophelia was really loving the new oven that came with the house.
First day of school and Peter broke the sink
"I hope Mom won’t be too mad"
Ophelia was unpleased and made Peter clean the bathroom

Ophelia needed a more “mom appropriate” hairstyle since she was an adult now
"Ah…I’m getting old"
"Mom..that’s a cooking book"
"Cooking is a valuable skill to have, Peter"
How unfortunate that Maya died at this point, when Ophelia really needed her, but I'm glad that Spencer gave her enough warning to get out in time. Not that I'm expecting them to back off this easily, but you never know, right?
