Since Snow was busy with Darlene, Emerson took up cooking.

Snow was peacefully eating breakfast when the baby made it's presence known.
While her parents were at the hospital, Darlene had her sugared cereal in peace.
It's a girl! Her name is Giovanna and she's Grumpy.

I decided to give Darlene some nerd glasses. It's what I usually do with genius sims.

Since Giovanna is a gloomy sim, she gets sad a lot. Chronic depression at it's finest.
Even their giant pink bear can't cheer her up.

They ended up playing with the doll house together.
Darlene had some daughter-mommy time too.
This interaction is my everything.
It's storytime in the Oglesby household. Darlene had collapsed long ago so only Giovanna is excited.
Why Giovanna decides to do her homework at the nearby park instead of at home is beyond me.
Is this really what Emerson wanted to pass on though?

I am declaring those two sims in the picture to be Emerson and Snow. No one can tell me otherwise.
"So why didn't we go to daycare?"

Emerson had his birthday. Somehow the big 40 snuck up on him.
Giovanna sure is popular all of a sudden.
"But then he was a boy king!"
"Who exactly let you watch Game of Llamas?"

Darlene took up the violin. She isn't very good at it yet.
