This update's shorter then I anticipated. I got distracted by real life happenings.

Aina was always happy when Betsy fell asleep. She wasn't as quiet as Amanda used to be.
Meanwhile, Amanda was busy with her violin. She really had a passion for it.
"Betsy, what's wrong? It's ok"
Betsy just wouldn't stop crying. Aina wondered if she was alright.
After finally settling Betsy down, Aina went to help Amanda with her homework.
"Thanks for the help, Mom. I'm not so great at this studying stuff"
"I know you can do it, honey. You just need a little motivation is all"
Aina had to leave Amanda when she heard Betsy crying.
"What's the matter, honey? Can you not bare to be away from me for 5 minutes?"
"Daddy will be home soon. Do you want to see Daddy? He'll be tired when he comes home so no more tears ok?"
Betsy sure knew how to make herself heard during the night.
"There, there, Betsy."
Sweet Silence.
Betsy's birthday couldn't have come sooner.
Betsy was very smart. She liked to play chess with Aina and could actually beat her.
Amanda got herself a weekend job as a babysitter.
Betsy liked fairy tales and would often ask Don to read to her. The Last Llama was her favorite.
"Do you need help with your homework, honey?"
"I'm ok, Mom. Thanks though!"
Don wondered how a child from his DNA became so smart. Betsy would just speed through her homework and never asked for help. It astonished him.
Amanda was having a rough time. She was teased at school because she was a little heavy.
'I suppose a diet wouldn't hurt me...'
AGAIN, AINA!?
Don to the rescue!
All Aina wanted to do was to make some pancakes for the kids. Looks like she can't even do that...
Don spent time with his girls while they waited for Aina to come home.
"How was school girls?"
"It was great!"
"Only a nerd like you could like school, Betsy"
Aina had a rough day.
"Ugh. You'd think the agency could alienate sexism from the workforce...."
Don decided to give cooking a try after Aina's last fire.
The girls feared for the state of their home.
Bonus Shot:
I don't know what Nina was thinking with this fashion decision.
