Since her aspiration is what it is, I had her join the writer career.
Our everyday challenge is to read books everyday. I got Makayla right on it.
With this gen, I can't work on the next one until she gets a promotion so I sent her on a mission to meet some dudes.
She met Glenn Jethro. Hello future baby daddy.
I also mooched some burgers off another sim. We poor yo.
We needed to waste some time so off to the Lounge we go.
The only first meal can be grilled cheese. Yummo.
Makayla started to have a relationship with Glenn.
They were super excited about it.
Makayla was smitten.
Cuties.
Glenn seemed to be quite the charmer.
"Makayla, you look stunning today"
"Oh! Thankyou Glenn"
He charmed his way right into Makayla's bed.
Then he had to scram and left. Rude.
I felt our lawn needed some colour. So Makayla started a flower garden.
BUT THEN DISASTER
I feel ya girl.
I almost cried when I realized we didn't have enough to replace it.
"I can't believe that just happened.."
Well, I guess Makayla's on a diet until further notice.
"Oh Glenn! I'm so glad you're here! You're never going to believe what just happened"
"And then I caught on fire!"
Another day, another bowl of cereal
Makayla decided to start to write novels. She did want to be an author, after all.
Lunch time. Let's have chips.
The face of someone with writer's block.
Dinner time...and a bad microwave meal.
Glenn came over and it was party time.
"Glenn! That was my face you just kicked!"
(Seriously, he kicked her in the face)
With Makayla's promotion, we got a better computer.
We got our stove back too! HURRAH
"Thank plumbob! I don't think I could take anymore cereal"
That's exactly how fire's start, Makayla.
Glenn comes by everyday. No joke. He's our little stalker that Makayla loves.
Lately, Makayla has been feeling strange. She had some sort of morning sickness.
'Please don't vomit in the eggs. Please don't vomit in the eggs'
So there Makayla was taking a little test. She was a bit nervous,
The test was positive. Makayla was pregnant. She was rather excited.
Glenn was at the door and she was excited to tell him.
"Glenn...I'm pregnant"
He was unimpressed.
That wasn't the reaction Makayla was hoping for. She suddenly felt a little ill.
"Are you sure it's mine?"
"What?! Of course it is! Who do you think you are asking me that?!"
"You can't expect me to just accept this without proof?"
Makayla was so pissed. She had never been this angry before.
"Well I do and if you can't accept that, you need to go"
"W-what?"
"I'm breaking up with you. You can't just have me now. It's either you have both of us or none."
Glenn was quite sad, actually.
Glenn tried to talk Makayla out of her decision but she was having none of it.
"The woohoo sucked too."
"..Just go ok"
Makayla wished it didn't have to end this way. If anything, she wanted a perfect family but she wasn't getting it.
She made her way to her bedroom to cry.
Makayla didn't want to deal with the outside world after that so she quit her job and decided to make a living with her book royalties.
"Everything's going to be ok..."
"No it's not"
Makayla spent some time at her computer crying.
She sent her first book to her publisher.
"The public better not mind a sad story"
Makayla was so sad and hurt. She wondered if she would ever be happy again.
To make matters worse, her first bill came. 345$ wasn't actually that bad.
The months went on and Makayla was starting to get the bounce in her step again.
The baby was craving salsa and chips. Too bad Makayla wasn't too fond of the stuff.
"Baby...you're killing me..ouch"
Makayla wasn't exactly cut off from the outside world. She called her friend Melanie often.
With the pregnancy ending, Makayla got tired often.
Makayla was watering her flowers when she went into labour.
"Oh! Ow...ok baby."
She waddled her way into the house to give birth.
It's a boy! His name is Nicholas Essence.
"Oh! Look at you baby!"
"I love you"

So Glenn didn't really leave afterward. He actually followed Makayla into the house. I had her ask him to leave as nicely as possible.
Actual fact: You can legit do this if your sim has the neat trait.

I'm very excited about this Legacy. I think it will be fun trying out different ways of parenting. Not all of them being right.
After a bit of bad CC, I managed to play for more then 5 minutes. I have no idea what it was but I still got to keep what a loved and what Makayla is wearing.
