Selena Stoker moved to Twinbrook after leaving the Vampire Coven in Moonlight Falls
She bought a large mansion and converted it into an orphanage
Unable to have children herself, Selena wanted to at least take care of orphans and see them grow
She was an alchemist and decided to stock up on her ingredients
After her trip to the store, Selena registered her home as 'Ms. Stoker's Home for Children'
She decided to work on some alchemy before her home was filled with children
It wasn't long after that she got a call from social services. Her first child was on her way.
Her name is Alessa.
Selena didn't know much about humans...it had been so long since she had been one, but she would try
"Your house is really nice, Ms.Stoker!"
"You can call me Selena, Alessa"
"Ok, Ms. Selena!"
First child gets the top bunk
Selena wanted Alessa to have the best childhood possible and tried to cook. She hoped her waffles came out ok
Alessa seemed to like them
She sat on the bus and wondered what the day would bring
Selena spent the morning doing the laundry
After the laundry was set to wash, she worked on her alchemy
"Please don't blow up"
While paying the bills, Selena received a call that another child was coming
This is Nathan
He enjoyed playing outside and utilized the playground that Selena had set up
Alessa, however, would rather play video games
She really liked the microwave for some reason
"Waffles! Sweet!"
Nathan may or may not think this bus driver is his biological mother. They share a lot of physical similarities.
Meanwhile, Alessa almost missed the bus
She made it just in time
Selena did some work while the kids were at school.
It didn't go well
"Ugh!"
"Maybe this time I won't throw up"
SUCCESS
Selena was set on making some Vampiric Sunscreen. She wanted to take the kids to the festival when it came to town
In other news, Laisa came to live with them
"Ms. Selena...can I really live here?"
"Laisa, this is your home now. Of course you can"
Nathan brought a friend home
The girls soon became close
Meanwhile, things weren't going well in the alchemy room
Selena was proud that Nathan was quick to finish his homework and encouraged him to keep at it
Nathan, however, was preoccupied with Selena's vampirism
Meanwhile, Laisa practiced her writing and ignored Nathan's antics
Alessa made friends with Nathan's pal
"Ms. Selena, could I have a story before bed?"
"Of Course"
"Hmm. What would Alessa like?"
Since Alessa's bed was the top bunk, she settled in Selena's bed
Before heading to bed, Alessa caught Selena in a yawn
"You must be tired, Ms. Selena..."
Selena could feel the smugness from behind her. Alessa was going to be trouble one day...
Laisa caught Nathan staring at the bus driver again
Alessa was almost late again and decided to sit far a way from her housemates
Selena headed out to the consignment store to sell her wares in their new shiny minivan
Janice has joined the crew
Nathan didn't want to share his favourite toy
Laisa asked Janice if she wanted to have a water balloon fight, inadvertently helping Nathan out
Laisa won
Nathan made the dire mistake of checking the girls' room for monsters, making them scream
Selena was displeased.
"Nathan...no scaring the girls. Next time I'll ground you, understand?"
"Yes, Ms. Selina"
