Once Upon a Time - Heather 2.4

Before this chapter gets going, I thought I'd show you the new Oglesby House.
Or...I got tired of building and perused the gallery.

The new house was definitely bigger. The kids had enough room to do their homework in peace.

Bruno would often come home stressed out so Snow invested in a yoga mat for the family. He really enjoyed it.

Emerson and Simone came home with promotions in hand.
Simone was the only one who seemed happy about it.

The poor man was having a rough time of life. He was just so tired.

Yoga did help him out though.

Meanwhile, Snow was painting up a storm.

Heather and Bruno were watching a drama in peace until his boss called. Bruno may have been a bit late to his last shift.

WHAT

NO STOP

Snow, hearing the commotion, came into the "skill room" to find Grim looming over her husband.
"Please no! Don't take Emerson!"

"Emerson Oglesby's time is up, Mrs. Oglesby. No buts"
"Just a few more hours, please!"

He seemed to consider it.

Snow cried over her husband.
It was just too soon!

While crying, Snow didn't realize what Grim was doing.

Emerson rose from the grave!

It seemed Grim was feeling merciful today.

"Emerson!"
"Snow!"

They had another chance. Snow wasn't going to let Emerson go anytime soon.

During all of this, Daniel was aging up.

The hipster is strong with this one.

"I feel a disturbance in the force."

Daniel must be magic because Emerson was dying again.

He had more of an audience this time.

"Mr. Grim, please no!"

"You asked for a few hours, Mrs. Oglesby and you got them. Next time, be more specific"

There was nothing Snow could do. She could barely watch as Grim claimed Emerson's soul.

Emerson's remains were moved to the basement, which serves as a makeshift cemetery,

Snow cried herself to sleep that night.

She couldn't believe he was gone.
'Oh Emerson....'

Daniel tried his best to cheer up his mom.

Unfortunately, nothing he did worked.

Despite his goofy demeanor, Daniel was very broken up about his father's death. He was barely 13 and his father was gone.

"OK, Dad. I gotta go to work now. I work at Simbucks!"

Snow made her way to the basement after Daniel left. It was just so hard without him.

Snow was depressed and smelled like poo but she still trucked on.

"#HomeworkKing"

Daniel decided to take up gardening to keep himself busy.

Bonus Shot:
Yo, Grim. GET OUT

Fun Fact: I cried
