Short Update is short
Zelda was a little concerned abut money.
"Rob, I'm worried about our bills. They just seem to be getting higher and higher."
"I know things seem tight right now but It'll get better soon. I promise."
Rob had been writing novels to help with their money situation.
So far...it had been helping.
Of course, breaking appliances didn't help anything.
Rob was a very busy man.
He was a good father to Melanie.
She was his baby girl after all.
"Night Night Melanie"
It had been a while since they had some alone time together.
Now that Melanie seemed to sleep through most of the night, Zelda thought it was a good time.
'It's a good thing Melanie doesn't care that I stink'
Zelda had been invited to the local elementary school to preform for the kids. They seemed to really enjoy it and she wondered if she'd see a few of them later in life.
After her gig at the school, Zelda picked up some more recipe books. She was going to make sure Melanie grew up on good food.
Guess who forgot to throw Melanie a birthday party?
Damn.
Melanie clearly knows what generation she's been born into.
Zelda couldn't believe how big Melanie had gotten. She was such a big girl now.
Melanie clearly knew how to make herself heard.
"Have a good sleep, Melanie"
Zelda was off to work for the first time since Melanie was born.
It was going to feel good to get back into things.
"Alright, Melanie. I hear you"
Zelda decided to teach Melanie how to talk.
"Can you say, "Music"?"
"M'sic"
"Good girl!"
"There you go, Melanie. Eat up."
Bonus Shots:
It was Spooky Day and we got a visit from a Pleasant girl.
I've never seen so many pigeons in one place before.
