Parenting 101 - Makayla 1.3

The rest of this generation will seem like a bit of filler. I've done what is required of generation 1 and so it's the waiting game until Nicholas has his young adult birthday. I'll try to mix it up though!

"How's school going sweetie?"
"Ugh"

Makayla has been rolling with the books lately. Maybe their money won't be so bad after all.

The hard thing was keeping the food steady. Nicholas ate like a monster.

It didn't matter what time Nicholas went to bed. He kept waking up at 600 am.
"Ugh"

Sometimes, when Nicholas left for school, Makayla was so into her books that she didn't even notice.

Makayla's fun past time: Blicblox.

Makayla isn't about this blue screen life.

Nicholas wondered if his Mom ever left her chair.

Bugs have started to pay attention to Makayla's plants. The bug-be-gone came right out.

Makayla was trying to make some breakfast for Nicholas until the stove broke. The struggle is real.

Nicholas has been really into his studies lately. Makayla decided to rent a science table from the school.
Nicholas loved it.

Girl if you burn down this house...

Nicholas learned to make some emotion potions. He decided to make some more for future use.

Makayla tended to miss Nicholas in the mornings. She'd stay up late writing and would wake up after he left. She worried about their bills constantly and was afraid not to work. Makayla hoped Nicholas wouldn't hold it against her.

Nicholas liked the near by park and would do his homework there sometimes.

"How's the grades going, Nicky?"
"I got a B...."

"I can do a lot better though, Mom!"
"I'm sure you can but let yourself have some fun ok? The park will be missing you!"

Like a true nerd, Nicholas was at his science table immediately after finishing his homework.

"Cool!"

All that sciencing tired him out.

'Why am I playing Blicblox when I'm no good at it!?'
(She makes this face every time I make her play it. Your guess is as good as mine.)

Nicholas forgot to take a shower the previous night and woke looking like he was rolling around in the mud.

Makayla wondered what in the world Nicholas has been eating.

Nicholas ended up being late for school and avoided punishment like a boss.

Makayla's new book was taking forever to write. Maybe a break was needed.

"I'm back mom!"
"Welcome home, Nicky!"

Makayla's 40th birthday came upon her before even knew it.
